Aron Hooks
Partner | Aron Hooks
Aron brings over $500 million of direct middle-market transaction experience from various roles in investment banking, private equity and corporate development.
Aron is primarily responsible for driving the firm’s investment thesis, executing transactions, and actively managing the long-term value creation strategy across Three Pines’ investments.
Prior to Three Pines Capital, Aron was on the investment team at SilverStream Capital, a private equity firm with over $1.5 billion of AUM across the healthcare services, business services, and consumer products end-markets.
In addition, Aron served as an analyst at GLC Advisors, where he focused primarily on providing restructuring advisory services, and an analyst at Catamaran Corporation, where he helped in leading the captive corporate development function prior to its $13 billion sale to UnitedHealthcare.
Aron has a BS in Business Administration, with emphasis in finance, from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a MSc in Finance from Villanova University.
Ben Anderson

Ben is an experienced finance professional with a unique background in general management, investment banking, and real estate development.
He is primarily responsible for deal origination, due diligence, financing, and operations.
Prior to joining Three Pines, Ben was a Vice President at GLC Advisors, a restructuring advisory investment bank in New York City. During the six years he spent at GLC, he represented hedge funds, creditors, banks and other strategic parties in a wide range of corporate restructurings and bankruptcies in connection with pre-packaged and traditional bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts and risk management transactions. Ben also managed a staff of approximately 10-15 investment banking analysts and associates.
Ben has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California-Davis and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. He also holds a professional civil engineering license in the State of California.
